The Masons Arms

Rooms are a little small, but the amenities are very clean and modern. Breakfast selection is excellent. Loved the Full English and the Mason's Vegan version of the Full English.

We popped in for lunch today. The restaurant was clean and airy, the staff were extremely helpful and the food was spot on. The only negative would be the choice of drinks, a glass of chilled wine would have added to the experience. We will definitely be back

It was actually laughable how bad our experience here was. The guy who served us clearly did not want to be there! We sat down at our table and he just walked away, didn’t say I’ll be back to take your order, or you need to come through and order.. I ordered the veggie breakfast purely because it said it came with guacamole and halloumi, food arrived with neither of those items on so he said they’ll be down in a moment. 5 minutes went by and still no food, he came back again with a bottle of ketchup, another few minutes went by, then another waiter came through with the halloumi but still no guacamole and said it wouldn’t be much longer. I said just leave it because everything is cold, I’d like a refund. She disappeared to get a manager then strolls back in saying I couldn’t speak to a manager because they were busy.. refunded half of my bill and walked away. No sorry from either of the waiters. Save your money and go elsewhere!
