We had 10 amazing nights at The Moso, such a beautiful luxury resort where we were welcomed so warmly by the locals. The food was amazing, the staff absolutely fabulous, and we so enjoyed the secluded position of the resort, away from bustling tourists. We loved the sustainability of the resort, no plastic bottles, filtered water throughout, and solar power. Such a treat, and I still shed a tear remembering the farewell we were given.
Our stay at The Moso was an unforgettable experience. The island itself is absolutely stunning peaceful, authentic, and full of natural beauty. We loved being able to immerse ourselves in local culture by visiting the nearby village and meeting some of the community. It felt meaningful and genuine, and added so much depth to our trip. One of the highlights was the Major Tom sailing tour, which we booked through the resort. It was a fantastic way to explore the surrounding waters and really appreciate the beauty of the area. Another standout was the secluded beach about a 30-minute walk from the resort, essentially private and absolutely worth the adventure. We did encounter a small issue with our original room, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally by moving us to a new room, which we really appreciated. Special shout out to Ricky and Evelyn who were so helpful and lovely happy faces around the resort. Overall, The Moso is a special place, laidback luxury in a setting that allows you to truly disconnect and soak up the magic of the island. We’d absolutely love to return one day.
We were so looking forward to visiting Moso but sadly very disappointed. The front of house was absolutely unhelpful and quite rude. Staff unavailable to assist with bags and also navigating the jetty’s on both sides. We asked about kayaks and told You just sort them yourselves. Lift down and put in the water. The food was way overpriced for what we ordered and an express martini was served in a swat scotch glass. The Vila was beautiful but floors deadly with only a drip of water. Coffee pod machine delivered totally cold coffee. On the morning of our departure we were informed when booked that checkout was 11am but we could still Spend the day and enjoy the facilities and have lunch etc. the front of house came to our Vila at 10.40am and informed us we had to be packed up and at reception to settle account as our transport on the other side was booked for 11am. The housekeeping told Us we had half eaten a Boost bar from the mini fridge NOT .. but had to pay $5 before we could leave I believe it is a beautiful location with great potential. Also the staff need much better training and PR skills
