The only positive thing about the hotel is the that it’s good for taking pictures, but rather than this everything else is bad. I don’t see it as a 5 stars hotel as it has many problems. The room is not clean , our bed sheets are stained. The room is missing many essential things like slippers, ear cotton ,tooth brushes and water kettle. the hotel’s restaurant is very very bad. It only offers vegetarian food . Stating that it’s a 5 stars hotel , there should be variety of options. Mind you that it’s very high priced. and the quality of the food is bad. we tried both breakfast and dinner both were bad and it takes them more than 30 mints to bring you your order. We came here for our honeymoon and requested them to prepare the room for that ,they didn’t do anything. The internet connection is bad and the electricity went off 5 times within the day The hotel has potential but needs many improvements. I hope the hotel management takes these notes into consideration and improve their service.

We had booked a 2 night stay here. When we entered our room at night around 11pm, we discovered that our bed was filled with hundreds of termites and bedbugs. It was in no condition to sleep. There was no senior staff to manage the situation at night. After 30 minutes, a couple of housekeeping guys came running, but were of no real help saying that half the hotel was under maintenance. Our whole vacation was ruined. We had to change hotels at 2.00am and the next day no one was picking our calls at the hotel. The entire next day just went in trying to contact any senior staff. When we did have a talk with the guest relation head Poki after relentlessly following up with the staff there - she just shrugged her shoulder and informed us that having hundreds of insects/termites in your bed is “just the part of the East African experience” and also how apparently she's from Germany but she also makes these adjustments so we should too. The guest relations head’s solution was to change the sheets and spray the mattress with bug spray when the mattress was filled with the bugs. She said and I quote “the bugs go away for a while and come back again after some hours, its just the experience here”. P.S. The hygiene standards for their linens and towels is also highly questionable.

This place is a disaster. First of all the place is filthy, cleaning is not a priority there. The rooms are very dirty and they smell so disgusting. The bed sheets were stained. There was no coffee/ tea bar and there was 2 empty water bottles. The bathroom was very dirty. They know nothing about professionalism. Someone came to our room knocking when we were sleeping, he was looking for his manager. We paid over 800$ per night and got terrible service. They had to clean the room and we had to wait until 10:30pm when we were very tired. Food was so bad, they were out of everything. The attached videos are part of what’s outside of my room. I wish I took more pictures.
