The Northdale

We booked a twin room for 1 night through booking.com, £61. Very friendly host who goes above and beyond to accommodate all needs very helpful. Room quite large with a double bed and single, large bathroom too with a shower. Room very clean, with a fan and portable mini fridge, which was great as weather was very warm (25+ Deg C). Table lamps next to each bed have USB charging points, which is great to charge phone next to the bed overnight. Breakfast was extra at £7 each, there was a choice of cereals & fruit, plus a full English, which was freshly cooked and lots of toast. On the table were sachets of ketchup & brown sauce and a nice little touch was mini scissors ✂️ to open the sachets. Again, host was very friendly and helpful. There is a small bar on the ground floor, chilled cans of beer £2.50 and a good quality white wine at £12, so very reasonably priced. Limited car parking on the front, but private car park at the rear which is locked overnight. Close proximity to Skegness centre, 10min walk and 15mins walk to the train station. We'll definitely stay here again.

👍🫶Northgale, the best and warmest in Skegness. “Tea or coffee,” was the owner’s first greeting when we met. Then she patiently showed me the rooms and let me make my choice. Then I got welcome wine. It’s too sweet, and I sleep very well. I really love it. It’s hard to say goodbye to the owner's family. I loved their kindness and warmth. They offer the best price with the best service. Come and try; you’ll agree with me!

Great family ran b&b in Skegness. Very clean, spacious and welcoming hosts. Located a stone throw away from the boating lake and main attractions. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Skegness. On our departure this morning, we were provided with complimentary water by the owner whos customer service goes above and beyond! Thank you for a great stay.
