The Rangers Reserve Corbett

The Rangers Reserve is located in Jim Corbett reserve near Sitabani and Bhandarpani safari Gate. The resort is an old and large one (~40 acres) loaded with scenic beauty and peace. One can drive car till Amgarhi (अमगढ़ी) village from where the Gypsy of the resort will pick up and will take to resort which is inside jungle (~3-4 kms from Amgarhi village). SUVs may be driven directly till resort. Walking in nature is a necessary part of the resort as one has to walk ~300 metres from rooms to restaurant. The resort provides Free Wi-Fi which compensates for mobile networks. The resort has a cafeteria too near rooms to provide snacks and odd time meals. The food quality and taste is good. Overall it is a good resort and recommended for at least one visit. The resort has large gardens with swings and chairs to sit and relax. The staff behaviour is hospitable and supportive. A piece of advice : Take your necessary and desired items with you upfront (Ramnagar is the nearest city) as it will take a drive of ~45 mins to reach nearest city in case it is required. CAUTION: Not Recommended for Pregnant women and Elderly people as the way to resort goes through jungle and there is no road (its a kachcha path with stones hnce quite a bumpy ride). Unquote: The resort needs maintenance ( doesnt seem to run in profits) but the location and views compensate for that. As informed casually by workers, ITC is going to take over the resort shortly which will substantially improve the maintenance part. Looking at maintenance part, the charges may be reduced for tourists to ensure value for money.

What a beautiful property in the middle of the forest!! Soo peaceful and amazing. The people here are so warm and polite and made our stay even more memorable. This is a must visit for any one who wants a break from their regular life and just have a little experience and adventure

The food was delicious, with a great mix of local and continental options. We loved the jungle safari and nature walks—truly a paradise for nature lovers!
