The best hotel experience we have had anywhere in the world. We loved every minute of our stay! The quality of the food and drinks, the beautiful pool and the attention for detail are amazing! The staff, each and every one of them, were so kind and helpful….they made our stay really memorable! They are genuinely friendly and they remember your likes and dislikes and use that knowledge to cater to your needs. Special thanks to Saki from the breakfast team and the club lounge team! We will definitely be back.

The hotel is on the top 7 floors of a 24-floor building. Wonderful views of Fukuoka all around. Room is tasteful and modern with high quality finishes, one of the best I've stayed at. Service is attentive and impeccable. Location is right in the heart of the city and shopping district. The only slightly puzzling policy choice is the additional fee to use the pool (which does look beautiful and is located on the top floor). Didn't bother me as I didn't plan to use the pool anyways, but I can see how that may rub some guests the wrong way considering the price point of this hotel. If the goal is to maintain the atmosphere of the amenity space, I would argue the same can be achieved with a reservation or pre-booking system, which I've seen at other hotels in Japan.

Conveniently situated in the downtown area, the first Marriott chain hotel in the city. The room’s large and comfy, super neat and clean. The service tumbles a bit. It is well-staffed, unlike some downsized hotels after COVID19, but sometimes it felt like the staffs were almoat reluctant to approach to the guests. Maybe it’s the language issue? The Japanese restaurant is very good. You can make a reservation at the hotel website, which was handy for me. The sake paring was worth the try. The small park or community facility just next to the hotel, which used to be an elementary school, is a good place to spend time in the evening. As many others mentioned, the elevator system is a bit bothersome, taking time and unnecessary eye-scanning or questioning whenever you come back to the hotel. Considering the price range, I think the security staffs could be more attentive and friendly. The cafe’s atmosphere and foods are good, and the view from the cafe is superb. Not that expensive either. I am definitely coming back here when I visit Fukuoka.
