The Riverside Hotel International

This mid-sized hotel strikes a perfect balance between modern convenience and warm hospitality. A good place to stay overnight especially when you travel by a late night flight, about 20-30min walk from the airport or nearby metro station. Not close but reasonable. Overall tidy and clean room, comfortable bedsheet but the rusting of water taps aren't attractive. Breakfast is too oily. But it is budget friendly, offers more than I expect.

The location was about 12 min walk from the mrt station, longer with luggage in tow though it's quite flat. We had a double room with no windows which was ok for one night. The issue was that sound proof was bad so we heard everyone that walked past very clearly. They do have a free shuttle service going to the airport in the morning which is really helpful. Took less than 10 min to get to airport. And they have snacks and drinks in the dining room for guests during the day which is a nice touch. Great place to be if you had to catch a plane early next day.
