The Royal Corin Thermal Water Spa & Resort Adults Only

We spent the second half of our honeymoon here in early June 2025. We had an amazing experience (other than lots of rain) including the breakfast 👌, the local town, the comfortable room, the sense of quietness and security and so much more. We agreed it's definitely a good move that we split up our 10 day stay with another resort a few hours away, as this resort is luxurious, quiet and slow paced. Great for some but since it's thermal pool based - and was raining - it was nice to have our rental car to venture out into town that was like 5/10 minutes away for dinner, ice cream and shopping. We loved the pools, the staff was great (especially Johnathan) and the buffet was surprisingly excellent too! We even found it hilarious that a giant iguana made a home in a palm outside of our room the ENTIRE trip even in the monsoons. We named him henry 🤩 We recommend if you're in la fortuna: stopping by the local grocery store for a fresh coconut/water, doing the hanging bridges tour, volcano tour and also chocolate/coffee making tour. We also did a day at tabacon up the street and it was AWESOME!

Our stay at this luxury hotel near Arenal Volcano was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel instantly at ease. The highlight was definitely the spectacular view of Arenal right from the balcony of our room — waking up to that sight each morning was truly unforgettable. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with lush gardens and several serene hot springs that made for the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated to create a relaxing, upscale experience. While the breakfast buffet options were somewhat limited for vegans, the staff went above and beyond — the chef kindly prepared a special plant-based plate just for us, and it was absolutely delicious. That extra effort made all the difference and really reflected the level of care and service offered here. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with breathtaking scenery and top-notch hospitality, this place is a dream come true.

The Royal Corin is beautiful and the service was amazing. From the moment we arrived the staff went above and beyond. We were traveling with another couple and within 12 hours of us arriving they remembered us, that we were traveling together and preferences. The food was very good we loved every we tried. They were very accommodating one of our party is allergic to gluten and they ensured everything was prepared appropriately. The only thing to note is that everything shuts down at 10 pm. We did not mind we stopped and got alcohol on our way in so we sat on our balcony if we wanted a night cap. Because we were there in low season they actually shut down the bars at 8 a couple of the nights.
