The Singapore Edition

Just had an amazing stay at the Singapore Edition — easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the city. I’ve stayed at Editions around the world, but this one really feels like home. Incredible service, great energy, top-quality everything. Even with lunch taking a bit of time, the whole vibe was so worth it. Can’t wait to come back.

The design is top-notch; however, there are certain sections where pungent scents can be smelled, probably a result of being relatively new. The service is where it lacks. First of all, I was upgraded without any communication from a garden view room to an allegedly better room type, albeit facing a currently ongoing construction site where noises are constantly made. I couldn’t take a nap due to the construction noise, thus requesting to be changed to a different room. I had hoped to be upgraded since it took them over an hour to respond to my request; in the end, I was downgraded back to the original room type that I originally booked. (I talked to the staff twice regarding the matter, once on the phone and once to the room dining staff.) Secondly, during breakfast, one of the staff mistakenly placed two glasses of juice on my table. I didn’t think too much before taking a drink. A few minutes later, the staff returned and simply took them away without asking me anything besides if I had drank it. I think even in a hawker stall, things don’t go like this. Despite a few minor hiccups, the general manager patiently listened to my feedback during my checkout and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience caused. I appreciate his attentiveness and the fact that I was able to take wonderful photos at the property. Therefore, I am willing to give an overall positive review.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! One of the most AMAZING hotels we have stayed at. Location, rooms, staff, room service, amenities can not fault anything! Staff are all so Beautiful, Nixon was an absolute gentleman and superstar. A big THANK YOU!!!
