The Social Hotel Sydney

Had an incredible stay at this backpackers hotel in Sydney! The place was spotless, and the cleanliness really stood out. It’s conveniently located close to public transport, making it super easy to explore the city. A special shoutout to the staff, especially the manager Antoine, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Highly recommend! :)

I lived there for 8 months, and this should be already a sufficient explanation for my 5 star review, but I want to spend more words. All rooms have lockers and bathroom (and you have also common bathrooms, so you will always have a free one for you), beds with curtains, electrical sockets, light bulb, and clothes container. There are a lot of common areas, including a courtyard on the ground floor and a big rooftop from which you have a wonderful view of the CBD, Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Everything is very clean (cleaning service is several times a day) But the best thing is people you can meet there: usually customer are very sociable, they become your family, as who works there: always ready to help you smiling and able to manage the hostel in a professional and friendly way at the same time. It will be my home in Sydney for ever.

The Social Hostel is a great place with excellent value for money. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are clean, and everything is well maintained. The atmosphere is welcoming, with great common areas and a rooftop with a beautiful view. Plus, they offer free breakfast, pizza on Tuesdays, and a Sunday rooftop BBQ.
