The Sunset Beach Resort Koh Kho Khao

This place is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The staff were friendly, and after a booking error (not the hotel's fault), we were kindly upgraded. The beach is stunning, and the restaurant offers delicious food at very reasonable prices. I'd love to come back here someday

beautiful hotel, with an amazing beach and perfect location if you want to be far from the obercrwoded places in Phuket. Nice rooms and the staff was really nice. The only problem -and that’s why i wouldn’t rate 5 stars- is the restaurant takes forever to bring out the food, we had lunch and dinner for three days in a row and it always took one hour, even when the restaurant was empty. luckily there is a restaurant ten minutes walk distance that is really good. Other than that, the hotel was amazing!

Here now though I wish I wasn't. There are dead bugs all over floor & furniture in lobby, plus a gigantic beetle that was crawling toward me before I fled the front desk. Very hot all over the property. Most staff speak very little English & understand less (even with translation app). Manager refused to address issues including lying to me in pre arrival emails, just shrugged her shoulders and went home with nothing resolved. Trying now to make alternate arrangements for the other three nights of my stay - there are FAR better options on the island. I suggest you avoid this "resort" at all costs.
