Enjoyed 10 nights here in July, first in room 424 with jacuzzi on the balcony then the last night in 702 a jungle suite. The hotel was brilliant for us. The hotel is stylish, spotlessly clean and offers great facilities. The room was lovely, private and great facilities. The restaurant was very good, great choice of food and very fresh. Breakfast and diner had so many options. Didn’t have lunch in the restaurant but used the snack bar which was excellent. The main pool was lovely, well laid out. Lots of sunbeds/mattresses, not too much completion for beds unless you wanted one off the beds with canvas screens . Didn’t use the jungle pool or rooftop pool. The nomad bar and the rooftop bar were excellent and the waiter drinks service around the pool was brilliant. The staff were superb , nothing too much trouble, friendly and helpful. Would gladly recommend the Syntopia and we will be finitely be going back

We have just got back from a week at The Syntopia and we loved every minute of our stay! To start, the hotel is spotlessly clean, they have an army of staff constantly cleaning and we couldn’t find an inch of dirt anywhere, both in our room and anywhere in the hotel. The staff are an asset to the hotel; they are so friendly and attentive, and always smiling. We unfortunately didn’t catch any of their names but they were all amazing and made our stay! They came round the pool very frequently to take drinks orders and bring them to you. We arrived late to the hotel at around 11pm and the staff had left us a couple of plates of snacks in the fridge in our room for us to eat, which was a really thoughtful gesture. Everything is so aesthetically pleasing and the attention to detail really shows. The hotel has a very chilled vibe, and we didn’t find it to be pretentious in any way, with a variety of ages but mostly 25-40. The food is delicious and fresh and there is lots of variety each day, with traditional Greek food also available. They also had themed nights such as Asian and Mexican. The entertainment in the evenings was lovely, our favourites being the jazz night and the violin player. There are so many great things about the hotel but there were a few things that we noted during our stay that we would like to advise others of. It didn’t quite feel “all inclusive” as there were alot of drinks that weren’t available until after 5:30pm, only 4 cocktails were available during the day from 10:30am. There were fridges with a small selection of ice creams at the bars but these came at a charge of €4 each, however we made use of the free self serve ice cream at meal times. The spa (sauna and steam room) also comes at an extra charge and is not free to use. The cabanas by the pool were pretty much all taken by 6:30am, with people laying on the beds to ensure their towels weren’t removed by staff, who would leave notes to advise that reserving of sunbeds is not allowed. This wasn’t particularly consistent though as some mornings there were lots of towels on beds with no one to be seen and the towels had not been removed. Our room was at the back of the hotel, right by the busy highway, which we could hear cars passing by, however it didn’t affect our sleep. Our room also looked onto the bins at the back of the hotel, which definitely could be improved by sectioning off the bins so guests cannot see them from their balcony. The Canteen (pool snack bar) closes at 6:30pm and the last sitting for dinner is 20:30pm, meaning that after this time if you are hungry there is no food available as there is no room service at the hotel. One final thing to note is there is a €10 per room per night additional tax charge which is payable upon arrival. This is something we were completely unaware of and added a further €70 onto our holiday which we had not accounted for, so this should be made clear when booking. Despite these relatively small things, we had an amazing stay and would love to return in the future!

We had an amazing holiday here, the hotel is visually stunning and they have the friendliest and accommodating staff I’ve seen in a while, one of the best places I’ve stayed in. Food is delicious and you can tell they use quality ingredients, very clean and smells lovely everywhere you go. Whilst it doesn’t take away from the 5 star rating, some areas I’d see as potential to improve: only a bottle of water left in the room, some refreshments would be nice; the standard cocktails are only available after 5:30 pm, and premium cocktails are paid, plus the all inclusive ends at 11 pm for which I found a bit strange; there is no a la carte, only a buffet but again the food is excellent; standard room is rather small. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone and will stay again!
