I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could. This is probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever visited. We stayed in the Luxury Alder and I would highly suggest upgrading to this room if you can. I cannot speak to the other rooms, but this one is absolutely beautiful. The room is large, the bed is comfy and the bathroom is absolutely amazing with a rainfall shower and heated towel rack. Breakfast was incredible. Unlike many hotels offering a self serve buffet, you get a variety of options to order and are made fresh. I tried a different item every day and they were all delicious. They even catered very well to gluten free needs. We ended up also eating at the restaurant for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredible, especially the staff at the front desk and at breakfast. They were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is not in town, which can be a downside for some, but we prefer being away from the bustle, so it was perfect for us, plus it was right on the Ring of Kerry and next to the Killarney National Park so we loved it. If we ever make it back to Ireland, we will definitely be booking a stay here again!

I stayed here for three nights on my recent trip to Ireland. All I can say is: WOW. I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. Was it a bit expensive? A bit. But so so worth every penny. My room was absolutely spotless and cozy and so so comfortable. I slept really well on the bed. Breakfast was delicious- a couple occasions I had lunch and dinner at the hotel too, which was equally yummy. The hotel is a 30 minute walk into the main part of town, but it’s a very pleasant walk I think. Lots of great shops and places to eat. Lots of amazing things to do outside of town too, yet still close within driving distance. The staff at this hotel was incredible- everyone I spoke to was nice and friendly. If I ever come back to Ireland, I am absolutely going to stay here again.

Stayed for 3 nights during our trip around Ireland and had a wonderful time at The Victoria. Breakfast every morning was fantastic and, unbeknownst to us, it was the last night of Bike Fest the day we arrived and, rather than fight traffic to get into town, we ate at the in-house restaurant, The Courtyard, both of us having the sirloin sandwiches which were so good. The meat was cooked perfectly tender and the toasted, buttered brioche was fantastic. The room was large, with multiple seating options and the rainfall shower was so refreshing after a day of driving/hiking around. All of the staff was friendly, approachable and helpful.
