The Wellington Restaurant and Bar

Fantastic Hotel, Rooms clean, Chris the Manager and his team couldn't do enough for you. Breakfasts are excellent, so much choice. We will definately come back and would definately recommend. Thank you to you Chris and all your Team for a great stay, a big thank you to the Chefs and Patrick the house keeper and his team for his help. What a lovely surprise to have complimentary bottles of beer and cans of Pepsi, and Water in the fridge, thank you. Great location, we used the buses instead of tube, this was cheaper and easier, bus stops are outside the Hotel which was very convenient. We were in walking distance to many attractions like London Eye, St James Park, Horse Guard Parade, too many to list.

A typical olde style pub accommodation. Plenty of history adorned the wall and ceilings. Needs a little TLC overall. Rooms clean and adequate for 1 -3 nights. A great stopover. Dint try the food

I remember this place being such a good place to have a drink. But on Sunday during the Chelsea game, we had an awful experience. The pub has several large screen TVs scattered around the place. But when we asked for the Chelsea game to be displayed on a smaller screen, because diners had taken all the TVs around the larger screen, the bar manager blatantly said no. So we nestled around a few smaller tables, ordered some drinks and some nachos. And thanked by others in the bar area that finally some football supporters arrived. It’s not a place I will visit again purely because of the poor attitude of the bar manager.
