Having popped in for a quick lunchtime drink we were impressed by the surroundings , the service received and the food on offer . We decided to book a room and dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary . Everything from the welcome received , friendliness of all the staff , condition of the room , quality and value of the food and drink on offer exceeded our expectations . Would highly recommend .
Stayed over here a couple of nights whilst attending a wedding nearby. What we found was a charming historic inn in the middle of stunning Somerton. The people at The White Hart were so warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was compact but had everything we needed including a super king size bed and a walk in shower. Meals were excellent served in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. There was nothing here we didn’t like, I’m sure we will be staying again.
Joined family for a Mother's day meal today, it was extremely busy (luckily booked a table!) lots of staff and really efficient service considering how busy it was. The food was outstanding, really great roast dinner (3 meats) and all the trimmings, all perfectly cooked 👌🏼 Our whole table loved the food and dessert was amazing too (apple and blackberry crumble). Really reasonably priced and great quality. All in all a wonderful meal and great staff, will definitely return soon, can't believe I've never eaten here before as I'm just down the road!
