The White House Hotel at Dizengoff Square

While the rooms are a bit tired the staff are wonderful. They have been helpful and kind. They make you feel welcome and are happy to spend the time to chat to you. Great location as it is close to shops and the beach. Would definitely stay here again! Five Stars!

First time in Israel and this "hotel" almost ruined my experience. This is your sign to choose a different hotel. For starters, the hotel manager tried to take advantage of me and trick me into taking a room less in value of mine because he gave my room to someone else without informing me. Once I realized this, I fought hard to get my rightful room and when I finally did, my room (the deluxe kitchenette suite), which looked absolutely nothing like the pictures online, had no hot water and no A/C. When I tried to discuss this with the hotel manager, he offered me an unreasonable compromise of either finding a new hotel or being placed in a room of lesser value while still paying the original deluxe kitchenette suite price. Let me tell you, I was put in two of their basic rooms and they are absolutely disgusting. The smell of mold and dirty sheets welcomed us. Not to mention it was a lottery pick just to get some clean towels. Even when I tried to enjoy the one beauty of this "hotel", the outside patio, I was chased out by cockroaches infesting the area. It is astonishing that this hotel is recommended to anyone when there are one too many reviews that speak to the filthiness of this hotel and the unprofessional attitude of the hotel manager when issues arise. Any amenities they claim to offer like breakfast or a kitchen in your room is a scam. The "kitchen" you pay for is a moldy microwave and mini fridge which btw is in their basic rooms as well. You would think with all the money they charge they'd try to upkeep this "hotel" or at least have clean towels and bedding. I would only recommend this place for its location, but you're better off finding a hostel. Otherwise, if you'd like to get scammed out of your hard earned money, choose this hotel!

The ‘reception’ is in the basement, completely stuffed with suitcases, toiletpaper, cleaning equipment etc.. Dead cockroaches in front of the entrance. To go to your room you have to go out and around the building to reach the elevator, as there is no lobby, no toilets (great when you arrive to your hotel after a long drive) The elevator broke down when we were there so I had to carry down the stairs 5 bags and all camera equipment.. Besides these killing qualities for a review it’s hard to imagine what is ‘Boutique’ about this hotel. Why not renovate the reception with some nice seats, a fountain, repair the existing toilet etc.. The owner of the hotel is clearly using this place as a cash cow. Nice lady at the reception though (she can’t help it!)
