We visited this place in May for our vacation. The location is absolutely stunning, and the views alone make it worth a visit. However, the overall experience was let down by several issues. As mentioned in many reviews, the service to the rooms is very slow. The bathrooms are not well maintained, and that was disappointing. When it comes to food, we really missed our home-cooked meals — the dishes served were quite bland and lacked flavor. On the bright side, the dining staff were very polite and caring, which we appreciated. One major concern was the road leading to the property. We were driving a sedan, and the road conditions were quite poor, just as other reviewers had warned. In summary, come here for the view — it's breathtaking. But be prepared for basic amenities, slow service. And they charge 1000rs for extra bed which is super expensive One more suggestion if u r going with family then make sure to pack some medicines which is required as this resort is bit far from city
I recently stayed at Windflower Resort, and while there were a couple of highlights, overall, the experience was disappointing. The Good: The food was genuinely delicious, with a good variety of options and well-prepared meals. The scenic view around the resort was beautiful and peaceful, making it a great place to relax and enjoy nature. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the room we stayed in was quite untidy and felt gloomy. There were insects and bugs throughout the space, which made the stay uncomfortable. The bathroom was poorly maintained and lacked basic cleanliness and upkeep. One of the most frustrating parts was that the staff’s response times were very slow, and even when we raised concerns, they seemed disinterested and didn’t take our feedback seriously. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and customer service, this resort could truly be a great getaway. But as it stands, I can’t recommend it unless significant improvements are made.
We stayed at this property and while the property's location is undeniably stunning and the suite rooms were spacious, our overall experience was quite disappointing for several reasons: 1. Room Cleanliness & Maintenance: The rooms, although spacious, were poorly maintained. All the furniture was quite old and clearly had not received proper upkeep. The bedspreads were also not very clean. 2. Bathroom Issues: The bathroom was unclean, with broken pipes and no hot water available by default. We had to call the maintenance team to activate the geyser in order to get hot water. The bathtub was in a terrible condition and had to be cleaned by housekeeping only after we checked in. One would expect basic cleanliness before a guest arrives. 3. Service: Service was generally poor and slow, except for a few instances. We had to reach out to the reception multiple times to get things done. 4. Food & Dining: The food was bland and lacked flavor. The restaurant chairs were unclean and appeared to have not been dusted for a long time. Even the baby chair provided was not sanitary. 5. Staff Attitude: While some staff members were polite and helpful, a few were quite rude and disrespectful, particularly the Omni (buggy) drivers and some restaurant staff. Guests deserve at least basic courtesy and respect. Moreover, after reporting these issues to the hotel staff, they were looking down on us and instead of fixing the issues, they were offering us a free spa, extended stay etc. which we denied. Accountability for the bad experience and resolving the issues highlighted is all we were expecting. Overall, despite the beautiful location, the lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and hospitable service made our stay unsatisfactory. I hope the management addresses these issues for future guests.
