Awestruck! Is the word I can think of after staying in this resort. Located next to a beach the rooms offer a private access to the horizon pool. The beach is hardly 100 metres from the room. The rooms were very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Great vibes, great service. Nothing more that you could ask for. Definitely recommended
A Decade Later, Still Magical – Zuri White Sands is Timeless I recently returned to the Zuri White Sands Beach Resort after ten long years, and once again, I was completely blown away. This visit felt deeply nostalgic—my daughter was just two years old back then, timid around water. Now, at twelve, she swims like a pro in the very same pool. It was a full-circle moment, and truly special. Despite heavy monsoon rains and unpredictable weather, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was just as comfortable and memorable as it was a decade ago. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality are what make Zuri stand out. I’ve come across reviews calling this an “old” hotel—but for me, that’s precisely the charm. Zuri isn’t about flashy trends; it’s about soul. Its greatest assets are its people, its serene private beach, and the absolutely delicious food. These are the things that don’t age—they only deepen in value. If I could, I’d give it 6 stars out of 5. Call me biased, but I believe in giving credit where it’s due. I have high expectations, and Zuri continues to exceed them in all the right ways.
The rooms were not bad. It was really cold though and changing the air conditions didn’t seem to change anything. The beds, however, were fantastic and perfectly firm. Everything at this resort is so expensive though. They charge for everything and that ruined the experience a little bit. Their bar Tangerine cannot even make simple drinks like a Shirley temple correctly. The poolside bar is a lot better. The pool timing is disappointing as it is only open from 8 am to 8 pm. They don’t even let you out into the beach during monsoon season even if you aren’t getting in the water and just want pictures. There are no nearby restaurants that are worth it and no activities as well. This meant that we either had to eat at the resort itself or drive an hour elsewhere. Also the buffet is 1600 rupees per person for lunch and dinner. Also, this place is not and doesn’t look like a 5 star resort. Compared to other hotels, this is at best either a 3 or a 4 star. 6/10, wouldn’t come again.
