It’s a clean and quiet hotel. The staff work their butts off to provide for all the guests they have. It seems to be a stopover for bus tours which means the lobby can be packed with people one minute, and empty the next. It was a nice place to stay for a week in Bergen, Norway. The room I was in had an odd oder to it. Not bad enough to change rooms. Still, it was noticeable. Oh, and they have air conditioning, it just doesn’t work very well.
Vacationing from Canada.Lovely hotel. We stayed two nights. So close to downtown we could walk to the shopping district and fish market. Wonderful. Exceptional breakfast!! Service was very good. One comment about the bathtub.... It is very slippery and you have to be careful. There is a sign above the tub telling that it is slippery but would it ever be considered putting a coating or glaze on the bottom of the tub so it wouldn't be so slippery? Just inquiring. Great hotel.
Good for family. 4 people can stay in one room. Comfortable. Very tasty and healthy breakfast with many varieties like lamb, fish, cheese, fruits, juice, bread, eggs....
