Location and rooms are quite ok, staff is helpful but can be better. Food is normal. Overall still great place for family bonding and have private beach area
Our stay at this hotel in Ha Long Bay was extremely disappointing. We booked and paid for a room for four people, yet only received two towels and three pillows. When we asked for more, the staff simply said no – which set a bad tone from the very first day. To make matters worse, a storm was approaching and the entire island was being evacuated – yet no one from the hotel informed us. We only realised something was wrong when we noticed the island was nearly empty and had to ask. At that point, we discovered we were one of the only two groups left on the entire island. The lack of communication in a potentially dangerous situation was extremely worrying. This hotel failed on basic service and safety. Definitely would not recommend staying here.
Price is from their former glory and not a true reflection of their current deterioration stage. Not even exaggerating, but I would still be in consideration if it’s half the price rate. TV doesn’t even have working channel, besides the hotel ads. Door lack secure lock. Bed was pushed together to be consider a King size bed,without any attachment to keep it from separating. Biggest problem is lack of anything to do on the island, besides swimming and cruise.
