U Hotel Taipei

This hotel makes the 8 nights I have to stay quarantined during my trip to Taiwan less painful. The room I stayed in was quiet and comfortable. The shower and “washlet” are great. The hotel provided more water bottles and toiletries than I need in 8 days. The staff sends reminders for every activities required by CDC, includes putting on the mask when picking up the meals outside the door and turning in daily body temperature reports. The staff are very friendly and willing to accommodating. The meal selection are not the best in town, but acceptable. I actually enjoyed staying in this hotel even though it was for the reason of quarantine.

This was my quarantine hotel during Taiwan's mandatory quarantine rules. I spent a total of 8 nights here. The room was a bit small for my taste but it was very comfortable. The food options were okay. The hotel staff was very friendly and did their best to make my stay as painless as possible.

Great sized room with tons of amenities and free snacks! The only cons would be the TV isn't that great (If that matters to you) and the windows are grated over so you aren't really getting much of a view (or light). The front desk was very helpful regarding things to see and places to eat. Overall I would definitely stay here again. There's a reason why it's on the Michelin guide for hotels.
