We had a wonderful experience staying at Udaan Woodberry Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, offering a beautiful view . The bed was super comfortable, and we appreciated the attention to detail in housekeeping. The property itself is well-maintained and blends modern comfort with Sikkimese charm. The in-house restaurant served delicious meals with a good variety of local and continental dishes. Breakfast was a highlight every morning- fresh, flavorful, and served with care. Location wise, it's conveniently placed with easy access to nearby attractions, yet quiet enough to enjoy peaceful moments away from the hustle. Overall, I highly recommend Udaan Woodberry to anyone visiting Gangtok — a perfect mix of comfort, luxury, and heartfelt service. Looking forward to returning soon!

We had a delightful stay! The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff made us feel truly at home. It was such a relief to find a hotel that not only served only vegetarian food but also accommodated Jain food preferences without any hassle. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with great views to enjoy.

During our recent stay at Udaan Woodberry in Sikkim, we had the worst experience of our lives. We were robbed of ₹50,000, stolen directly from the purses of the ladies in our group while our belongings were supposedly safe inside our locked hotel room. This was an incredibly shocking and upsetting incident, especially since I have been travelling for over 60 years and have never faced anything like this before. What made the situation even worse was the hotel’s complete lack of transparency and responsibility. When we requested to see the CCTV footage to understand what had happened, we were flatly refused access. This raised serious doubts about the hotel’s integrity and willingness to help its guests. The hotel’s response was extremely disappointing. Instead of offering support or taking action to investigate the theft, the management appeared indifferent, leaving us feeling ignored and helpless. We chose Udaan Woodberry because of its reputed service and peaceful environment, but this experience completely shattered our trust. The security at the hotel was clearly inadequate, and the staff’s handling of the situation only added to our frustration and distress. In all my years of travel, this has been the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It has left a lasting negative impression on what was supposed to be a relaxing trip. Therefore, I do not recommend staying here to anyone. I urge anyone planning to visit Sikkim to be extremely cautious and reconsider staying at this hotel. No one should have to endure the pain and stress of being robbed, especially while on vacation. We hope the management takes this seriously and implements strict security measures to protect future guests.
