Urban Suites Recoleta Boutique Hotel

My wife and I enjoyed a nice 6 night stay at the Urban Suites Recoleta. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with a balcony that overlooked the Recoleta Cemetery. The hotel provides a very good breakfast buffet with plenty of variety and coffee. Cooked eggs are available upon request. The staff was friendly and professional. It was the perfect comfort spot for a week in Buenos Aires. We used Uber to travel to the various neighborhoods across the city. It worked out well and was very affordable. The hotel is an excellent value for the price.

Excellent location, and comfortable accommodation. area is a bit noisy with nightlife but travel with earbuds if you're sensitive to noise. Breakfast was simple but with a good spread and quality. Rooftop terrace is a nice touch, but not particularly useful other than to enjoy for a few minutes. Good value for money and a good choice for us.

The worst customer- and hotelserviceI have ever experienced. We had a reservation for two nights but we had to cancel because my husband is already for more then 5 days in the intensive care in the Hospital of El Calafate. Due to that we asked multiple days before our arrival day if we could cancel the reservation. The hotel asked for a medical report as confirmation, which we provided. Their response was that they could not cancel the reservation but, as a “special exception,” they would convert our full prepayment into a credit valid for 12 months. Probably the most heartless response that i’ve ever experienced, especially since it is uncertain whether we will ever be able to travel again. If this is how they make their money, it says everything about the kind of hotel this is. I would never recommend this place.
