Wonderful hotel in great location with excellent food. We have been coming here over many years and the service, food and experience continues to always be wonderful. Great for kids ski school location, the food is excellent and the kids activities means that parents can also relax. It's also very good for adults who can eat in a quiet restaurant.

I brought my husband here to have a little getaway for his birthday, it is a hotel with every detail thought out from A to Z! The ambiance of the room is enough space, the welcoming team and all other employees, as well as the open free drink buffet on each floor, the tasting menu at the Capricorn restaurant on the last evening, in short, everything was beyond wonderful! We want to come here more often! Highly recommend!

Booked a weekend stay with half board and arrived from Zurich, only to be told we must have dinner at 18:00 due to a group booking. When we asked to dine later, we were told no food would be served after that time and no alternatives were available. Even worse, because we skipped the first night’s dinner, they refused to offer us half board menu the second night too – apparently, half board is “all or nothing,” even when it’s their own scheduling issue. Completely unacceptable. On Sunday, we asked for a late checkout and to use the spa in the afternoon after a hike – again, flat-out denied. No flexibility, no care for the guest experience. The rooms and facilities are lovely, but that alone doesn’t make a good hotel. If I had known we’d be forced to eat at 18:00 or not at all, and couldn’t use the spa after check out on Sunday, I wouldn’t have booked. No communication, no effort to accommodate. Just “no.” Thankfully, the Schweizerhof saved the weekend – welcomed us with open arms, offered a wonderful half board experience, and even gifted us a bottle of wine we’re happy to host us in their spa on Sunday. That’s what hospitality should feel like. This hotel? All style, no substance. Never again. Gabriel Lennartsson Alumnus – Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne
