Super comfy and clean hotel. The staff is always smiling and friendly. Breakfast is charged to the room and you can only choose a few things from the buffet, but you still have few choices for the main breakfast. I eat the cheese and ham omelet with hash brown and a choice of bacon or sausages. It was very delicious.
We stayed at the Varscona for our anniversary and the staff helped to make our day a little more memorable. At checkin, staff asked if he could send up a bottle of wine, which he did and it was chilling in Ice when we came back from a walk. The rate we booked for our room did not include breakfast, but staff waived this as well because of our anniversary. I would definitely return to the varscona.
Room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days. One day they left a damp towel in the nightstand. Told staff and they didn’t seem too bothered. The refrigerators are actually freezers. But it was clean and location was good so I would stay again.
