Although the location is very nice, I was very disappointed with my stay. This is NOT a 5 star hotel! The pillows were lumpy, housekeeping left an inadequate number of towels- only one face towel and no washcloths, and customer service was NOT up to standards of a 5 star hotel. The pool closed at 6PM when check in is at 3PM and checkout is at 11AM, so when is one supposed to use the pool??? A HUGE disappointment when one thinks they are coming to a 5 star hotel.

We booked an executive suite for $825 per night. An unfortunate leak in the bathroom coming out of the light fixtures flooded bathroom floor. A repair partially fixed it. When we returned to room the leak shifted to another place in the bathroom, soaking all our toiletries. No one at front desk answered. Downstairs at the front desk, the next morning, mercilessly understaffed, the lack of urgency considering the inconvenience was dispiriting. The staff's communication with each other was poor. We were told new room, their only option, would be ready shortly. 2 1/2 hours later we were told 3 1/2 more hours when in fact after manager came out, hearing our anger, it was ready then, not 3 1/2 hours later. The property and rooms are beautiful. Accidents happen but the lack of attention to what was effectively their fault generated this ire. With minimal attention to detail this place could be superb.
