A peaceful paradise with amazing hospitality Staying at Vijai Resort was an absolute pleasure. It’s a hidden gem, tucked away from the main road, surrounded by nature, and offering a real sense of peace. Our room was incredibly spacious, with a cozy lounge area, which made it feel extra comfortable. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and some fantastic local restaurants. A beautiful swimming pool and everything was very clean. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and kindness of the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and always ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was a highlight—fresh, delicious, and filled with tropical fruits like sweet papaya. If you’re looking for a place to relax and feel at home, this is it. We would love to come back!

Stayed for two nights in early February 2024. A lovely homestay which is off the beaten track and away from the main road. The room was huge and had an accompanying lounge with kitchen facilities. It's within walking distance of the beach and some great restaurants and a couple of hours taxi drive from Colombo. There is also an express bus service which is well worth using. All the staff are lovely. Breakfast was great. The pool was just perfect and absolutely essential. Highly recommended.
