Great Easter Sunday special buffet lunch. For those that booked in for the night “We enjoyed our stay here as a family of four. Was so nostalgic being back to stay as we haven't been prior to the first lockdown in 2020. Wellingtons restaurant for lunch and breakfast was perfect! Delicious food, friendly prompt service from staff. Rooms were clean and cosy. Great place for a weekend staycation close to home. Thanks for having us!”

We stayed in 107 overall the room was great. But the door frame and windows leading out to the garden area need to be thoroughly cleaned including curtains. There is lots of mould on the door and window frames and curtains. Was meaning to say something to reception on check out but was in a rush and forgot 😅

We stayed one night here and found it disappointing. The rooms are dated and run down, a noticeable old musty smell when we walked into the room. The doors creak, the external balcony doors barely open, mold stained grouting in the shower, the phones didn't work, no instructions on using anything etc. We booked a cot and 4 occupants. We arrived to no cot in the room, not enough towels for everyone to shower. Multiple trips down to reception to get what we needed. For a "4 star hotel" there was no attention to detail. We woke up to ants swarming the bathroom and our stuff in there. Breakfast buffet was underwhelming, poached egg was raw white jelly - undercooked and inedible. Barista coffee was good. Restaurant staff were upbeat and welcoming but found the hotel staff to be lacklustre. issues were raised at checkout and a free coffee offered which was nice but we won't be return customers. Over all service here was lacking and the facilities are run down. not worth the cost
