I’ll admit, I was a bit cautious when I first booked this hotel through Discover Qatar, especially after coming across some extremely negative reviews on Google. However, after spending two nights here, I can confidently say that those reviews do not reflect the reality of my experience. The hospitality and service provided by the hotel staff were genuinely commendable, and I felt well taken care of throughout my stay. Considering the budget, I’m extremely satisfied and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Qatar.
My 3-Night Stay Experience I recently spent 3 nights at Water Front Hotel Apartments, and my stay offered both highlights and considerable disappointments. Positives • Room Quality: The rooms were impressively clean, tidy, and had a luxurious feel. Housekeeping maintained high standards, with timely cleaning and fresh linens, which made the environment comfortable and pleasant. • Facilities: The spacious layout of the room added to the comfort, and amenities like a kitchenette were practical for longer stays. Drawbacks • Service Issues: Service was extremely slow throughout my stay. Requests to the reception took a long time to be addressed, and at times staff were hard to reach or unresponsive. • Communication Problems: The in-room phone was not working properly, which made it difficult to communicate with the front desk—a real inconvenience when you need support. • Dining Experience: • The quality of meals was subpar: some food items smelled off, and others were not heated properly. • Beverages were unreasonably expensive in comparison to similar hotels, making in-room dining poor value for money. • Gym Facilities: The treadmill in the fitness center was not working correctly, limiting its usability and taking away from the advertised amenities. • Staff Training: Many staff appeared under-trained and not equipped to handle guest needs in a timely or professional manner.
We couldn’t sleep at all during our stay because of the loud music and sounds of couples having intercourse from the room next door. We called the reception at 3 am and complained several times but still the music kept playing and the sounds getting louder so we’ve had enough of it at 5:30 am and requested our room to be changed and Jayson in the reception simply informed that we are fully booked and don’t have any rooms. So we ended up leaving the hotel at 6 am without any compensation or a refund from the hotel.
