I was booked into this amazing hotel, while on a training course. I can honestly say that I was treated like a lord. A lovely hotel and served by welcoming, polite staff. I would certainly return again.
Handsome looking hotel from the outside. Fairly modern on the inside. Really liked the breakfast. Good staff We booked a “superior” room to be told on arrival it was the basic room and did we want to upgrade. Maybe they should call it “regular” or “standard” in future Easy walk to the inner city
PROS: Beautiful building and grounds, very friendly staff, great breakfast buffet, excellent cocktails at the bar. Great location - easily walkable to the Altstadt, Michaelsberg, Concert Hall, and the whole pedestrian shopping area. CON: maybe the worst bathroom design I have ever experienced in a hotel, especially the shower and its fixture.
