Everything was great such a Beautiful Hotel. The Hotel is very clean and lovely rooms with a Beautiful view. Everyone in the hotel makes your feel so welcome. The restaurant staff are great to and very friendly. Worth doing the half board as breakfast it's so good with so many choices and the dinner is just outstanding and so tasty. Have to say a big thank you to the hotel manager Giovanni Caltabiano who really makes a lovely impression and so helpful and always smiling. Would come back again for sure never on any holiday have had such great service.
Super cute vintage hotel! All the staff are super welcoming and friendly, and you really feel like they'll cater to your every need. They packed us a picnic lunch every day at breakfast, served us an amazing 5-course dinner, and transported us from and to the Wengen train station! I highly recommend paying the extra Francs for the Jungfrau view rooms. Giovanni and his staff are awesome. We would definitely visit again.
We could not have been happier at Hotel Wengener Hof. If you want a gracious European hotel in the heart of Wengen, this is it. We arrived at 10:30 PM in the rain and called from the train station as their website advised. The porter arrived promptly and picked us up. The front desk was closed, but our keys were on the desk. Because our reservation included breakfast and dinner, and since we had missed dinner, there were two plates of meat and cheese and two bottles of beer waiting for us in our room. What a lovely surprise. The meals in the hotel dining room were excellent; a great breakfast buffet and fine dining for dinner. One night we went to their sister hotel for dinner instead and that was a nice change. The hotel is ideally located; it's an easy walk to everything including the train in Wengen. They told us that on check out day we could leave our luggage at the hotel and they would bring it to the station for us later if we wanted to spend more time in the area after checkout. They also gave us great advice about train and gondola tickets while we were in town. We will be back!
