Westwind Properties at Montebello II

It’s a very enjoyable stay at Summit Lodge. Location is very central and so close to a big supermarket. We picked this hotel based on others’ review. We arrived a bit early and requested for early check in. It’s busy but they tried their best to give us the room earlier and we received a text from them that the room was ready while we were having a late lunch. The kids were super happy when we were at the reception desk. They put out a little candy station to pick and enjoyed the candies while I focused on the checkin. The double queen bed room is of a good size for 2 adults and 2 kids. Kitchenette is great: has drainer and mixing bowl, dish soap, 4 sets of bowls, plates and utensils etc. The non-stick pot is a bit well used (I am not a fan of nonstick pot to start with and there are scratches at the bottom). The bathroom has enough countertop space to put all our toiletries. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It’s definitely a family friendly hotel and the price is decent (we checked in the last day of BC day long weekend). Staff was very nice and we will for sure return to this hotel next time.

My husband and I come to Whistler a couple times a year for vacation. We have stayed at numerous hotels but THIS hotel has been our go-to for the last few years. Beautiful hotel, great customer service and the management really takes care of us. The warm welcome too and ALL the attentions to detail are amazing. The little care bundle for our dog for the room, the OUTSTANDING restaurant Lorette in the hotel is probably now in the TOP 2 best restaurants we have eaten at in Whistler, the little details in how they make it FUN like how everyone's dog's name are all on the front desk board is a royal welcome, the joke of the day every day at their desk, and even over the weekend they had delicious iced tea and cookies in the lobby! Seriously this hotel thinks of EVERYTHING on "how can we make our guests feel happy, important and have fun". Love this hotel! And thank you to the amazing manager Liam for the great communication. Stayed here a few nights with my kids and loved it. Great location to stay! Especially if you have young kids. Not a super busy party area. Quiet at night at a reasonable time. Staff was very helpful with anything. Maintenance even helped me out with my car when it died overnight. Definitely a repeat for us in the future!
