Wuau Hotel Galanthus & Spa

Lovely hotel that we've stayed at three times now. All the staff who work there are very helpful, friendly and always make our stay a pleasant one. The rooms we've had are comfortable, include a free safe for valuables, large screen TV if you've time to watch it, great power shower and the room cleaning services were faultless. The choices for evening meal food were fabulous, plenty to choose from and the same for breakfast. On site Spa and gym you can use, we had one free session in the Spa area, included sauna, steam room, and aqua pools with massage bubbles. If you're skiing you can use a locker for a returnable deposit and there's a transfer bus you book to the ski in ski out at the Soldeu resort, which is only 5 minutes away. Definitely go back again, I've probably missed something.

Superb hotel, excellent location, great parking. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower was always hot after a day's skiing. The buffet restaurant, only in my opinion, needs to be revised. Could be served from 6.30pm. All the cold buffet was excellent. All the hot foods were over cooked and dry, I think it was the heaters. I think hot breakfast should be served at table s on request. As with evening meal should be cook at counter whilst being served. We have never been in a hotel where ALL the staff were such lovely friendly people. I do hope you let them all know what I said. Decent hotel near the center of Soldeu, 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes walking to the ski lift. The hotel does offer a free shuttle to and from the ski lift. The Spa area needs a facelift, very outdated. The rooms are tiny but acceptable. The smoke detectors don’t know the difference between smoke and steam from the shower. So every time we showered the front desk had to call to check if we’re okay or burning alive (I’m still alive FYI). The buffet was very limited and the warmers above the hot food didn’t really keep it warm, so most of it is room temperature. The staff was very friendly, hopefully the hotel pays them very good, since they outsource workers from South America.
