Were here for their hot spring only . And a bit wary because of the negative review with their accommodation . But if you are here for their hot spring only. It is a 8/10 experience and worth the penny . Romantic and great view of the Wulai review . We pick the outdoor private onsen it was great
Let’s get to the point: 1. Drop off point does not have shelter and has staircase. Imagine when we had to lug our luggage in the rain 2. When they say “your breakfast is in your room”, we didn’t expect have takeaway boxes and plastic cutlery at a seemingly luxurious hotel (see photo) 3. The door at our hotel room was stuck and when we complained about this to the front desk staff, they doubted us and told us to return to our rooms to “push harder” 4. Location is poor 5. Floor in our hotel room is so slippery, especially when we just came out from our private onsen. Our kids fell down a few times. 6. When you want to use the electronic safe but it does not have battery 😆 Overall a very poor experience.
No functioning AC, room was 24c all night with ac set to 20c. Maintenance visited the room and said it’s working fine. Hotel looks great but poorly run and they couldn’t care less that the ac didn’t work. Also reception will call your room at random times for bizarre reasons like telling you breakfast has opened.
