*This trip was made mid-august, the end of the tourism season. Your experience may differ* Let's start with the great things about this resort: Sitruated in an isolated part of Cat Ba, an island that has yet to suffer from urbanization, this resort is surrounded by only mountains and its private beach. The staffs here are welcoming and can speak fluent English. If you are into swimming and physical relaxation, the extra services this resort provide will suffice. Next, what I think the resort can improve in: When I walked into the lobby, the first thing that I saw was leaking AC units; And not just the lobby, many other areas such as restaraunts. The room had not been thoroughly cleaned when we started our stay. Many ammenities expected in a 4 stars hotel, such as: Shaving kit, Hotel guide, Slippers, etc. Were missing and had to be ordered. The food served in the 2nd building's buffet was lacking in variety, mostly food to be eaten with rice and only a few western-styled food. TLDR: This resort will be great for relaxing trips, not business ones. Since it is on a remote island, many room ammenities that you may expect from a 4-star may be missing from your room, and they lack food variety.

The check-in time at 3 PM and check-out at 11 AM felt quite unreasonable — it significantly reduced the actual time we could enjoy our stay. After a long wait to check in, we were already tired upon arrival. Additionally, charging extra for simple amenities like billiards or table tennis was disappointing. Unfortunately, I don’t plan to return.

My review will be short but read the long one before mine. Not recommended for foreign travellers. This hotel is LOUD and busy, beds are very hard. There are much better options at half the price in town. The location on paper looks good here but I would not recommend at all.
