Wyvern Hotel an Ascend Collection Hotel

Ann and Noel were incredibly helpful in making my reservation and checking me in. The entire staff was exceptional. The rooms were immaculate and well-updated. The beautiful facility is definitely a place I’ll be returning to. However, do not believe the Google images; there is no longer a pool. It was destroyed during Hurricane Ian, but the rooftop bar and restaurant are still there with a beautiful view.

Beautiful hotel with gigantic bathrooms. Separate tub and fantastic shower. Nicely appointed rooms. Self service with online check in and check out, People working the front desk were friendly and pleasant. Road right in front of the hotel was blocked with road construction. We had a little problem navigating thru the one way streets to get to the Wyvern. Would recommend and return.

The room is quite beautiful. It definitely says luxury. The tile in the bathroom is also very pretty. The big chaise lounge in front of the large window is beautiful and the room itself is quite large and spacious as well. However the AC in our room wasn't working very well, so we had trouble sleeping because it was so warm in the room. The room also had a very musty smell to it. The girl who checked us in was nice but she seemed to be one of those people who doesn't really listen when others speak to her. She cut us off and ignored what we said several times during our interaction. Also, I noticed that the chandeliers in the lobby of the hotel were quite dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in some time.
