X’tan ha went above and beyond to make our trip to Belize fun and comfortable. The rooms were lovely with excellent AC. Plentiful drinking water and coffee is a huge plus. Beautiful pools. The view of the ocean was phenomenal, I even saw a stingray snorkeling right off the deck and many fish. It was quiet and I slept well - I was only disturbed by woodpeckers! The birds were beautiful. It was great being picked up for tours from the dock. I really enjoyed Ka’kua restaurant especially their Saturday bbq menu. The massages on the beach were incredible, private, and well priced, and the tour they booked us through Tuff E Nuff was the best of our trip (and also well priced). Special shout out to Mayri for sneaking me a piece of birthday cake with a cute card and sparklers in the morning when my fiancé woke up on his birthday. It is a trek into town (40 min bumpy golf cart ride each way to go out for dinner) but the loveliness of X’tan ha makes it worth it.
We really enjoyed staying here. We were in a little bungalow with a great view. The property is north of San Pedro and takes a while to get to and from, but it's well worth it for the quiet and the view. The service was great and everyone here was so friendly. They really went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. I would recommend booking a transfer through the hotel for getting to and from the airport or water taxi, it made things super convenient. We also rented our golf cart here, so it was ready as soon as we checked in and we didn't need to worry about dropping in a different location before we left.
the rooms have everything you need though the upolstery on kitchen chairs & futon will need to be replaced soon. The service from every employee is AMAZING. Above and beyond expectation. The restaurant-not owned by X Tan Ha couldnt take cards & had no ac during our visit. we enjoyed In D Wild and Up North for food, beverage & off site fun. Groceries are better priced north than south. Secret Beach was also a fun hang out space
