For dinner we had trout sashimi, raw yuba, konnyaku, venison sashimi, yuba roasted over the hearth, and a little sake in a real green bamboo, which was all very elegant. For breakfast they served us bracken that had been picked that morning, as well as red rice. The cheese omelette was also carefully made and freshly made, and was delicious. The salmon, mentaiko, and other dishes were lightly seasoned and very easy to eat. The view from our room was beautiful, and the quality of the hot spring water was excellent, with the bites being soft. I'd like to come again.
The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Although the facility is a Showa era inn, it is kept clean. The hot springs, which can be reserved for private use, are wonderful and quiet, and I would like to visit again. This is an inn that I want to stay at forever.
