Z Hotel & Z2 Hotel

Very cool hotel. Ours wasn't exactly a beach front like we thought. If you chose pool view they will put you in the other Z hotel. It just adds about a minute walk to the beach. Nice facilities. There was great staff that really had warm genuine hearts. Mr. Peter and Mrs. Wema. My girlfriend and I actually became friends with them.

We originally booked The Z Hotel, expecting to stay at the beautiful beachfront property with its stunning views, pool, restaurant, and gym. However, upon arrival, we were informed that we had been placed at The Z2 Hotel, a newly opened sister property located just behind The Z Hotel. While Z2 is modern and clean, it lacks the charm, atmosphere, and convenience of the original Z Hotel. What disappointed us most was that nowhere in the booking process or confirmation was it mentioned that Z2 even exists, or that we could be placed there instead of the hotel we actually chose. Guests at Z2 are allowed to use the pool at The Z Hotel, but you have to walk back and forth between the two buildings. Also, Z2 guests are not allowed to have breakfast at The Z Hotel, which added to the feeling of being separated or downgraded. Another important point, there is no elevator in the building. Considering the relatively high price, the overall experience did not feel worth the cost. If we had been clearly informed about the existence of Z2 and what it offered we would probably have made a different booking. As it stands, we felt misled, and that we didn’t get the value or experience we paid for. The Z Hotel itself is lovely with a great vibe, just make sure you know exactly where you’re staying. Z2 may suit some, but it’s a very different experience than staying at the original property. The gym at the Z hotel is great and well equipped with a nice view.

This hotel is an absolute disaster. Don’t believe the pictures or the descriptions — there is no sea view at all. The place smells disgusting, like mold and sewage. The rooms are tiny, uncomfortable, and full of bugs. There’s no elevator, so be prepared to drag your luggage up the stairs yourself — and good luck if you’re on a higher floor. The bathroom doesn’t even have a fan, so the smell and humidity just stay trapped. The staff are incredibly rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. They act like you’re bothering them when you ask for anything. Zero hospitality, zero manners. If you care even a little about your comfort, avoid this hotel at all costs. I would never come back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone — not even for free.
