Just spent an amazing 5 days on an AMA Waterways cruise on the Chobe River (Africa Safaris & Wildlife Cruise). Has been the trip of a lifetime - unforgettable experience with cruise and land safari. Saw more wildlife than I could ever imagine, beautiful accommodations on the Zambezi Queen and a staff that goes all out for you. What incredible people, thank you for sharing your culture and country with us - it truly has been the trip of a lifetime!
The Zambezi Queen was a 5* plus experience, relaxing, very knowledgeable and experience staff who was always ready to cater for any need or requirement we might have had. Bernard, Emily and the rest of the staff on board was at all times available to assist or to just answer questions you might have. The atmosphere on board is relaxing. The meals were excellent; they are serving a variety of dishes. Drinks, from the bar or coffee/tea throughout the day, always someone available to serve you. Our suite was very comfortable, spacious and with aircon and a separate fan. Two balconies which gave us great view of the river and its banks. A list with the daily activities were outline each day. The tender boat activities with Stove being our guide was excellent, as well as the village visit. Very informative. It was our second stay, previously on one of the Princess but it's not our last!
Amazing way to spend time between land based safaris. Brilliant, friendly staff superbly led by Captain Patrick. Our room attendant, Memory, was fabulous and our daily trips on the little boat with Godfrey were great. My husband especially enjoyed his early morning fishing trip. A special highlight was being able to visit a Namibian village and being treated to a performance by the local cultural group. Enduring memories!
