Zuri Zanzibar

We just spent four nights at the Zuri and had a great time. The location is so beautiful with the perfectly white (and quite soft) sand beach and the light blue / greenish water. The water is so clear and there are many starfish right on the waters edge so it makes for a great beach. It’s also really nice that the beach is quite deep so they have all kinds of games for kids like trampolines and ping pong and beach volleyball etc that sit right behind where people lay out along the beach. The hotel itself is very beautifully designed and the rooms are quite spacious and well appointed. The service was excellent - we had a morning butler and an afternoon/evening butler and they were so kind and helpful. And the food was excellent with several restaurants and very well prepared seafood, Indian and other cuisines. You can’t go wrong staying at the Zuri. We’d highly recommend it!

This was truly the best experience we had at a hotel, the staff is always there to accompany all your needs, special thanks to Rukia the amazing receptionnist and also Ben and Peter, our butlers. The hotel os well located and is very beautiful, everything is well thought out so you can have a special moment. The food is top tier as well. If we could give 10 stars we would. Thank you again to the whole staff who made our stay that much better, they truly make a difference. Will come back soon!

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and it’s the only one so far that has made us want to return. In my opinion, it has the best beach in Zanzibar — peaceful, beautifully close to the water, surrounded by palm trees, and completely relaxing. What makes it even better is that it’s away from the areas where locals constantly try to sell you something, so you can truly unwind. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the bed guarantees a perfect night’s sleep during your holiday. Every evening, there’s a magical sunset celebration with a bonfire and different programs that create unforgettable memories. The staff is extremely polite and always focused on making you feel pampered. To me, this is one of the best hotels in the world and should be on every traveler’s wishlist. For sure will come back here every time will return to Zanzibar.
