Great location in the center of town. Great friendly staff. Nice lobby and lounge area. Room was good but view from 203 was of the roof. Not a big deal. Only there one night. I would stay there again.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious. We loved the buffet breakfast which has lots of different choices. We also had a lovely drink at the bar. Staff was helpful, welcoming, and professional. They even helped arrange our airport transportation. The location is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, bars, and attractions. The only negative was lack of blackout curtains which is an issue in July when the sun barely sets. Luckily I had an eye mask but my wife wasn't as lucky. I would stay here again though. We cannot wait to come back to Iceland!
It is difficult to rate this hotel. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Location in city center near activities. During July, the lack of black out curtains was an issue. Surface of bed less than two feet off floor with soft mattress. A real issue for elderly. Tub surface in our room six inches above floor surface. No walk-in shower is an issue for all the elderly cruise passengers staying the night before cruise. And ... The breakfast buffet is terrific.
