A short but wonderful stay at this amazing luxurious hotel. The service was very kind and welcoming - we even recieved a bottle of wine as a gift. We were at a suite without a private pool but enjoyed a very nice and large bath + walk-in shower. The room had all the amenities you can think of and a great view. The food was very good, especially in the buffet. The options on the fixed menu were less good and also included very sweet desserts (I guess adjusted to the Israeli taste). The hotel had only wines from "Jerusalem" winery which is very bad. Luckily we brought our own wine. The pool is very nice as well. Overall, a great stay! Perfect for couples! Just remember to bring your own wine ;)
A Beautiful Stay with a Disappointing and Concerning Ending We stayed for two nights at the hotel in a Junior Suite with a large private pool and a spacious terrace overlooking the Jerusalem hills. The room was lovely, offering exactly the level of privacy we were hoping for. We chose to invest in this particular hotel to enjoy some quiet, quality time together as a couple—just before the summer break with our children begins. Unfortunately, what started as a peaceful and enjoyable stay ended on a very unsettling note. On our second night, a fire broke out at the bar near the hotel's main pool. Since our room was the closest to the pool and our window had been left open, smoke began entering the room while we were asleep. No staff member came to wake or alert us. We only became aware of the danger when another guest banged loudly on our door, waking us up. When we stepped outside, we saw a large cloud of smoke approaching. We quickly closed all the windows and exited the room. The fire was put out relatively quickly—thanks to the firefighters, whom we saw actively dealing with the flames. We returned to our room afterward but spent the rest of the night coughing due to the residual smoke. At the time, we didn’t raise any complaints, as we were grateful the incident ended without physical harm. However, the next morning, I approached the shift manager to express my concern about how the situation had been handled. I shared how we had been woken by another guest, not hotel staff, and how we experienced significant smoke exposure. I also mentioned that upon returning to the hotel after the fire, one staff member even stated that the fire was a result of arson. The response I received was defensive and dismissive. Rather than acknowledging our experience or showing empathy, the manager insisted there had been no need to wake us despite the smoke in our room. She claimed that staff handled the situation appropriately for all guests who were awake and denied that the fire department had been involved—even though we saw firefighters at the scene. She also suggested there was no justi
Great staff, great food , great views. Rooms are severely under maintained. Not worth the money: Mold all around bathroom, water damage in room and bathroom, the jacuzzis are gross and falling apart.
