B&B Hotel Napoli San Mauro

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff was very accommodating. Our room was spacious and was cleaned daily. The hotel also offers ample space for car parking. Despite our late check-in and very early checkout, everything went smoothly, thanks to the 24-hour reception. Breakfast was decent, with a nice selection including croissants and cakes. Although it's about 20 minutes by car from Naples city center, the location offers a very convenient access to the autostrada. We’d definitely stay here again the next time we visit Napoli.

My Girlfriend wanted to visit Italy as Rome is on her bucket list, I wanted to visit Pompeii and so chose Naples as a base, this hotel is close for the airport but a fair distance away from the centre of Naples we intended on doing a fair amount of traveling by coach and train so I didn't think it would be an issue, the staff here are all very helpful and although this is not what I would call a tourist hotel a lot of the staff speak very good English, certainly better than my Italian. It is clean and the rooms are what I would expect from a four star hotel, Air con wasn't working in our room but as we are visiting in April and the temp isn't going much above 20 Celsius it's not been an issue, our room has an amazing view of Vesuvius which. all in all very good value.

This hotel is lovely physically, but travelers need to be aware that, although it says that Hotel San Mauro has air conditioning, their system will only maintain the temperature in the rooms to 30 degrees Celsius. It is very hot in the summer months and if you are used to air conditioning at lower indoor temperatures, this hotel will not be a comfortable stay.
