A Hidden Gem in Gerace – Unforgettable Stay at Palazzo Sant'Anna From the moment we arrived at Palazzo Sant'Anna, we were welcomed with kindness and professionalism by the incredible host, Simon. His deep knowledge of the area and genuine passion for Gerace made our stay truly exceptional. Simon’s family plays an integral role in running the hotel, and it shows in every thoughtful detail and seamless experience. One of the highlights of our visit was the guided tour with Simon and Gabrielle—don’t miss it! Their insights brought the history of Gerace, the “town of 100 churches,” to life in a way that was both engaging and memorable. The rooms were spacious, and offered every comfort we could ask for. But the crown jewel of the property is undoubtedly the terrace. The panoramic views from there are simply unmatched—perfect for a morning coffee or a sunset glass of wine. If you're looking for a place that combines charm, history, and heartfelt hospitality, Palazzo Sant'Anna is it. We can’t wait to return!

Travelled with wife to hotel between July 13 and 20. Looking forward to an authentic experience in a beautiful ancient hill top town, and that's exactly what we got. The hotel - formerly a monastery - has breathtaking views of the towns and sea below, best appreciated over dinner or a drink at the outdoor restaurant and bar. It is also just a few minutes walk to the two main squares of the town, including the cathedral square where the best granita is to be found at one of the local bars. And it is a short drive from the deaside towns of Locri, Siderno and Marina di Gioisa. We even spotted an Italian starlette attending a function at the hotel - Ornella Muti. But, the real stars at the hotel are its manager (Simone) and staff (Maria, Niccolo). Simone could not have been more attentive to our needs and wants throughout our stay, and he fixed us the best cappucinos during morning complimentary breakfasts. You will leave the hotel with a new friend in Simone and plans to return one day!
