The rooms are a decent size and nicely updated. The only problem I had was how tiny the bathroom was which honestly didn’t have a big impact on the overall experience. This is a great alternative if you don’t want to overpay to stay in the heart of Venice. If you drive, parking is hassle free, you can drive to Venice in 15 mins and it’s close to a mall with loads of shopping and food options!

We stayed at Voco Venice Mestre on our last night before flying out, but had left our luggage there earlier while staying on the island — and from start to finish, the service was exceptional. Loris greeted us with genuine warmth and took great care of our bags. Later, we headed to the bar, where a fantastic gentleman (I wish I could remember his name—possibly Abdu) served us a drink and shared an incredible list of local recommendations that really shaped the rest of our time in Venice. The next day when we returned, Loris welcomed us again and checked us in flawlessly. He acknowledged our status, offered the welcome amenities, and even provided a luggage scale so we could make sure we weren’t over our weight limit—such a thoughtful touch. Our room was clean, modern, and well-designed, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Later, at the hotel restaurant, we ran into the same bar staff member who had helped us before. He insisted we try the fried calamari, and wow—freshly breaded, crispy, and full of flavor. Absolutely worth the recommendation. His service throughout our stay was so above and beyond that I tried to tip him, and he humbly said it wasn’t necessary. I still handed him a $20 because he truly deserved it. The man is a star. We’ve stayed at many IHG properties, but this team really stood out for their kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing comfort and outstanding service just outside Venice.

Very nice hotel. When asking a question, it seemed the staff was not very welcoming. Hotel resturant was nice, but the menu could use some updating. The bartender was nice. The rooms were very clean but very warm without an option to make it comfortable.
