Doria Grand Hotel

Lovely hotel. Felt truly like a 4-star hotel. There were some minor annoyances, but overall we had a great stay at this hotel. BEAUTIFUL ROOMS The rooms were so elegant and looked recently renovated. The temperature control system in the room worked well and we had no issues. GOOD ROOM CLEANING The room cleaning service was done well and there is nothing to complain. VERY FRIENDLY RECEPTION All the receptionists we encountered at this hotel were really friendly and helped us checkin and checkout smoothly. BREAKFAST IS OKAY There's not too many healthy options in the breakfast for vegans or vegetarians, but overall it was okay. Would be nice if they had some nuts and dried berries as well in the breakfast. VERY GOOD PRICE We booked the rooms from the hotel website for a good price. Again, nothing to complain. Go for this hotel!

We just stayed here for one night since we were just passing by to catch a flight the next day… but we said WOW! If we return to Milan we’ll definitely stay here longer! The entire hotel is beautifully decorated. We loved the vintage-jazz theme of the room. It was very spacious and we can say that the bed was the most comfortable bed we slept on! We were able to rest after a week of traveling around Italy so we really appreciated the size and comfort of the bed, as well as the quiet. The breakfast was delicious… I specifically loved the wide selection of different cheese and the coffee was also nice. The location is great since Milano Centrale is less than 10 minutes away on foot which is what we needed the most, and also the metro is 5 minutes away to move around the city which is very convenient. We would definitely recommend it! There are a few details that we’d like to note that we feel could be improved: 1. As we took a shower, there wasn’t any rack or soap box. This would make it more comfortable since we had to place the shampoo/soap on the floor. 2. Add free water. The water bottles in the mini fridge were 2,50 each. Nowadays, every single hotel we’ve visited for much cheaper per night have included free, cold water… specially in summer I think this is a must. 3. Add entertainment on the TVs. It seems a bit outdated not to have the possibility of streaming Netflix or similar apps and only have cable. 4. Add room service. We were so tired from our trip and the room was so comfortable that we would’ve loved to just order food and drinks to the room! Overall of course it was a very pleasant stay!

Great hotel in a convenient location near Milano Centrale. Rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful—special thanks to Giovanni at the bar and restaurant for his excellent hospitality. Overall, great value for money and a pleasant stay!
