Elizabeth Country House a Member of Design Hotels

We stayed in September 2024 in this stunning, relaxing hotel. The staff was super nice and attentive, brought us complimentary espresso and fresh fruit in the garden and gave great recommendations for dinner close by. The pool was very refreshing, it looked gorgeous and lounging next to it was a great pleasure. Last but not least, the room was lovely with a view to the hotel’s own herb and veggie garden. We will try to come again this year!

Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay here. I was nervous before arriving whether this hotel would be good value based on previous reviews but our expectations were over exceeded. The service was amazing - I was called and whatsapped by the concierge who greeted us at the gate, and took our suitcases to our room. There was direct contact on WhatsApp with the hotel at any point and anything we asked for was attended to straight away. The breakfast was amazing and a huge selection of great quality food, we didn’t need lunch for our whole stay! We stayed in the hotel for the full two days and are so grateful for the staff especially Alessandro who made our stay very special. Thank you to all!

What a stunning property! The attention to detail is incredible; all the wallpaper is actually hand-painted, which adds a unique charm. The kitchen offers free coffee and water, along with fresh cakes for guests. As Marriott Gold members, we were upgraded to a spacious and beautiful room. However, the air conditioner needs urgent improvement. Despite maintenance attempts, we couldn’t get the room temperature below 25 degrees. Additionally, be prepared to pay much more than usual for extras. A basic coffee costs 8 euros, a full English breakfast is 30 euros, a beer from the honesty bar is 8 euros, and a single gin and tonic is 10 euros. Fortunately, there are numerous affordable restaurants and supermarkets nearby. While there were many mosquitoes by the pool, the pool itself is stunning and massive. This hotel could be a true gem with a little love and attention, but we still enjoyed our stay overall.
