Mercure Argentario Hotel Filippo II

What a delightful stay. The location with views of the sea and nearby bay from our balcony was absolutely dreamy and relaxing. I enjoyed taking the stairs down to the cliffs and pier where the hotel's private beach service offered chairs, umbrellas, lunch, and a secluded swim in the clear waters. We spent most of our time here. The room was also spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet setting, but only a short drive or walk from the nearby town of Porto Santo Stefano. What really made the difference here was the staff. They were so attentive and friendly (to us and our chihuahua) and that's what really made our time here special. Definitely coming back.

We found the "Albergo" absolutely perfect for so many reasons. The people running the place are so friendly and extremely helpful. The location is stunning, there is direct access to the sea, where the umbrella and beach chairs are included for the people staying at the hotel. Porto Santo Stefano is just next door and the location is perfect for enjoying all the beaches around the Argentario. We are already looking forward to going back!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. They gave us great recommendations for local dining spots, which we really appreciated. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is well-located, close to the city center, and offers a stunning view of the sea. It’s truly a unique place. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although a bit dated, but they served their purpose just fine. We were also upgraded to a better room at no extra charge, which was a lovely gesture. Special thanks to the lady at the reception, who was exceptionally kind and made our stay even better.🫶
