Location cant be matched and the friendliest of the staff. The bar staff was amazing attentive knowledgeable and extremely professional. I would recommend trying to enjoy activities during the day relax with the local food in the food hall beside the Bar area and ending the night with some lovely cocktails and desert while listening to different musicians playing piano and singing at night. Once you refresh some part of the hotel everything will be perfect! I went with kids and wife and was happy try to get Grand club access. Will see you again soon.

As a Hyatt Globalist member, I was disappointed that my room was not upgraded, and I was not allowed to have breakfast in the main restaurant. The most serious issue was that the room was extremely hot and stuffy, with the air conditioning being severely inadequate. During the evening peak hours, the temperature in the room would rise sharply, making it very uncomfortable to stay in. On the positive side, the newly renovated club lounge was quite nice. There was sashimi available and the overall quality of the food was good. However, the shortcomings with the room and breakfast arrangement really affected my stay. I hope the hotel can improve the air conditioning system and room upgrade arrangements for loyal members in the future, as these are important factors for guest satisfaction. While I appreciated the improvements in the lounge, I believe that basic comfort and member benefits should always be prioritized. Overall, I had mixed feelings about this stay, with both positive and negative aspects.

Disappointed with Stay – Not Family-Friendly smells like smoke I booked two rooms at the Grand Hyatt Fukuoka using 72,000 Hyatt points for my 10-year-old’s birthday, primarily because of the pool. Unfortunately, the stay fell far below expectations. The pool was a major disappointment it’s only open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by reservation only, and each session is limited to just one hour. It was a letdown for my child’s birthday celebration. I had requested that our rooms be be connected since we were traveling with kids that wasn’t honored Worse, when we checked into our room, it smelled strongly of smoke, masked by an overpowering chemical scent that gave my son a headache. We aired the room out and left for a few hours, but the smell remained, so we had to switch rooms to a different floor farther apart making things even more inconvenient. The hotel feels very outdated, and the lingering smoke smell throughout the property made it feel unsafe, especially for young children. When I brought these concerns to the manager, I was offered just 5,000 points in compensation — a token gesture that felt inadequate given the experience. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel for families. It’s not worth the points, and it certainly didn’t deliver on the expectations or standards I associate with the Hyatt brand.
